Measure your furry friend's neck, I recommend measuring the length of their collar. From there, select the bandana size that best fits the length of your pets collar. It is possible to be between sizes, therefore I suggest picking the larger of the two to ensure your bandana covers your pets entire neck. If your furry friend has lots of fur, I also recommend sizing up because the extra fur can add inches to their neck size.

For references, Tuck, my 100-lb. Golden Retriever wears a size X-large. Tiny, my 45-lb. Dalmatian wears a size medium. Timmy, my 50-lb Chocolate Lab wears a size large.
